I knew from a young age that I wanted to tell stories. In fact, my very favorite book in 3rd grade was Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan. This is an allegorical book about a Christian’s journey through life. I was simply mesmerized by this story, even though it was complicated for most adults.
The second aspect of my life that I believe has helped inspire my writing, is a professional nanny career spanning over 30 years. There is simply nothing in my experience that activates one’s creativity quicker than being in the presence of a child. I have a lifetime of creating stories which has led me to write and publish my own children’s books.
I went back to college and earned a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing and English. I also studied almost a year at American Writers and Artists Institute to become a copywriter. I am excited to become even more diversified in my writing skills and to add more layers to my journey.
Expertise I specialize in all things children, from childcare to child developement. I write blogs, special occasion poetry, podcasts descriptions, emails etc.
Skills english and creative writing, research, I work well with others, but excel working alone, task management, delivering top-notch copy and or content
